For the first time, Baltimore is offering a city-wide hotel promotion offering one night free with the purchase of two nights at over 40 participating hotels. These specials are available for bookings starting June 15, 2008, for stays between July 1 and September 1, 2008.

Those looking to save money on the cost of gas can travel to Baltimore via Amtrak, which is now even more affordable. Travelers can save 50 percent off the best available rail fare for one adult companion traveling coach with a paid regular adult, senior citizen or disabled discounted ticket for Amtrak travel to Baltimore.
